Carol Queisser Cox, 67, Indianapolis, died Aug. 24, 2014 of a massive stroke. She was born Feb. 4, 1947, the 5th of 7 children of Arthur and Ruth(Cain) Queisser. She is survived by her daughter, Robin Cox; siblings, Tom, Leo (Kathy) and Harold (Kandi) Queisser and Gail (Pete) Blainey; many nieces and nephews; Lori Quessier; and best friend, Nancy Iles. She was predeceased by her parents; sisters, Sally Richardson and Helen Gardner; and nephews, Michael and Shaun Quessier. She loved spending time with Robin, playing tennis, working in the yard, and watching the Colts and Pacers. She went to St. Joan of Arc Grade School and Bishop Chatard High School. As a youth, she was an excellent athlete, winning 4 races in one city champion CYO swim meet and pitching her Joan of Arc team to CYO city kickball championship. Calling is Thurs. Aug. 28, 9-11 a.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 4600 Kenwood, Indianapolis, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. and then a peace meal. Donations to American Stroke Assn., St. Thomas Aquinas Church or favorite charity. Condolences to CaringBridge (Carol Cox webpage) or Indiana Funeral Care, which is handling arrangements.

    Dearest Robin, I’m so sorry about the sudden loss of your mother. You are in my prayers. I have such fond memories of you and your mom from pre-school days with you and Meredith. Hugs to you, sweetie!

    To all of the QUEISSER family. I am so sorry to hear of Carol’s passing. I know she is in heaven reuniting with her family. I send all my prayers to those still here.
